Baleadas are to Honduras what pupusas are to El Salvador and tacos are to Mexico. This beloved dish features a thick flour tortilla, grilled to perfection, then filled with refried black beans and white farmer's cheese. It's folded over like a soft taco, creating a simple yet satisfying meal.

    1. Prepare the Tortillas: In a large bowl, mix together the flour, water, vegetable oil, egg, and salt. Knead the dough until smooth and non-sticky. Divide the dough into eight equal balls, cover, and let rest for 20 minutes.
